LUILLO RUIZ
Luillo Ruiz is one of the most accomplished and respected film producers in Puerto Rico. He is the CEO and owner of The Pimienta Film Co. With a career spanning almost twenty years of producing and promoting the island as a first-rate filming destination, Luillo has dedicated his life to the development and growth of the Puerto Rico film industry.
Luillo is a fierce advocate and supporter of emerging Puerto Rican talent.
BOBBY RANGHELOV
Bobby Ranghelov is a hugely experienced line producer who brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of physical production to Pimienta.
Bobby speaks six languages and soon Puerto Rican. Married (still) with one kid.
During his film career Bobby has worked on over 100 movies all over the world. Some of his credits include: Axis Sally with Al Pacino, Primal with Nic Cage, ANA with Andy García, Imperium with Toni Colette and Daniel Radcliffe, Getaway with Ethan Hawke and Selena Gomez, Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning with Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren and Flypaper with Patrick Dempsey and Ashley Judd.
CYRIL MEGRET
Based in London, Cyril Megret is a graduate of the London School of Economics and has over twenty years of experience in film finance and sales and the management of other IP-based businesses. He co-founded sales, financing and packaging outfit The Salt Company and film finance advisory firm FilMoney Services. Cyril was involved in setting up Pimienta with Luillo Ruiz after helping finance Luillo’s first film as a producer, Maldeamores, and has executive-produced most of the company’s feature films since then.
Cyril also retains an interest in the independent music company Full Time Hobby with artists including Lonely the Brave, We Are the Ocean, Tunng and Timber Timbre.
BELLY TORRES
A former professional ballet dancer and professor, Belly moved to advertising production in 2004 as Executive Production Coordinator for Little Pictures and Salado Media in Puerto Rico.
In 2006, she moved into feature filmmaking working as Executive Production Coordinator, Associate Producer, or co-producer in many of the Pimienta projects. In 2017 she co-produced the DeLorean saga DRIVEN (Lee Pace, Jason Sudeikis), which premiered internationally in the Venice Film Festival and domestically in the Toronto Fim Festival, and the action thriller PRIMAL (Nicolas Cage).
Today, Belly is one of the essential partners of The Pimienta Film Co., one of the leading production companies in Puerto Rico.
DIANA PRINCIPE
A former graphic designer turned film scholar, Diana has worked in the film industry since 2008 with a focus on film incentives and production legal for The Pimienta Film Co. Diana also teaches video art and cinema history courses in the School of Plastic Arts and Design of Puerto Rico. Some of her credits feature work in: THE CALLER (Rachelle Lefevre, Stephen Moyer), WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE (Jean Claude Van Dame), IN THE BLOOD (Gina Carano), DRIVEN (Lee Pace, Jason Sudeikis), PRIMAL (Nicolas Cage) and ANA (Andy García, Dafne Keen).
MARILY (GIGI) REYES
Gigi started working in 2013 for The Pimienta Film Co. as Production Coordinator for commercials including brands such as Toyota, Coca Cola and Mapfre. Now she budgets, coordinates and produces commercials for brands such as Sabritas and Toyota. In the film industry she has worked as Payroll Accountant for projects including IMPRISONED (Lawrence Fishburne), DRIVEN (Jason Sudeikis), ANA (Andy García) and Assistant Production Office Coordinator for THE LAST THING HE WANTED (Anne Hathaway). She is Head of Executive Production at Pimienta were she handles all administrative affairs and coordinates the tax incentives audit process.
