Belly Torres

Executive Producer

A former professional ballet dancer and ballet professor, Belly moved to advertising production in 2004 as Executive Production Coordinator for Little Pictures and Salado Media. Her portfolio of commercials include such recognized brands as Toyota, Wendy’s, Suncom, Verizon, D-Max, and Banco Popular de Puerto Rico.

In 2006, she moved into feature filmmaking working as Executive Production Coordinator in the critically acclaimed Puerto Rican comedy Maldeamores produced by Pajaritos Preñaos Films. In 2009, she worked as an Associate Producer in the supernatural thriller The Caller, along such recognized figures as Matthew Parkhill (Dot The i), Rachelle Lefevre (Twilight, New Moon), Stephen Moyer (Quills, True Blood), Luis Guzmán (Boogie Nights, Magnolia, Maldeamores, Traffic) and Lorna Raver (Drag me to Hell).

Today, Belly is one of the essential partners of Pimienta, one of the leading production companies in Puerto Rico, and one of the key players in the Puerto Rican film industry current revitalization.
